Following the introduction of new regulations by the GCAA following rule changes by EASA for professional pilots to undergo advanced theoretical and ‘on aircraft’ flight training, to help pilots identify and mitigate in flight dangers, with the aim of providing the pilots with necessary competencies to recover from airplane upsets, ActionFlight has been offering upset prevention and recovery training.
Now based at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, ActionFlight will be offering its two Extra 330 high performance aerobatic aircraft to give passengers the chance of a lifetime to experience loops and rolls along the Ras Al Khaimah coastline.
The company becomes the first commercial aerobatic operation in the UAE.
ActionFlight had already been attracting tourist trade with its hot air ballooning business which is expected to resume operations in September.
The company is also looking to start a sky diving operation in the northern emirate later this year.
ActionFlight’s operation spans 15 years from its roots in New Zealand, carrying with it a history of excellence and perfect safety.
While the adventure tourism operation will attract the headlines, Vertical, ActionFlight’s advanced pilot training programme, will complement these offerings by continuing to provide the advanced pilot training in the region, now mandated internationally for independent, commercial, and corporate airlines.
