Riyadh’s International Airport emerges as top aviation facility

According to the General Authority of Civil Aviation, King Khalid International Airport is the best international airport in the Kingdom in terms of both service quality and traveler experience.
The international airport in Riyadh grabbed the top place despite a decline in commitment rate from 82 percent in March to 64 percent in April.

According to the GACA monthly performance report, the airport handled more over 15 million passengers yearly.

To evaluate an airport’s performance, the authority has established 14 key performance indicators. These comprise the time travelers must wait after checking in, for security screenings, and at baggage claim stations.

The study examined facilities for people with special needs as well as spaces for passport and customs screening.

The monthly survey places Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport in second place with a commitment rate of 36%—down from 73% the month prior.
Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah came out on top with a 73 percent commitment rate in the second category of international airports around the Kingdom, where the annual passenger volume spans from 5 million to 15 million.

According to the report, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam came in second with a commitment rate of 64%.
