Etihad Airways unveils flagship premium lounges at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s new Terminal A

Following Etihad’s historic first commercial flight from Terminal A on October 31, the airline has revealed its impressive new lounges ahead of the complete transition to the new terminal, which will be phased between November 9 and 14.

These new Etihad lounges are located on three floors of Terminal A’s north side, situated between Piers C and D. They cater to a wide range of guests, including those in First and Business Class, offering various dining options, relaxation spaces, and entertainment areas. Notably, there’s a striking Constellation Bar within the enclosed Roof Lounge.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad, expressed the airline’s commitment to delivering a memorable experience for guests from the moment they enter the lounge. The lounge is a crucial part of the passenger journey, and Etihad aims to provide innovative design and a selection of memorable experiences, whether guests opt for relaxation, dining, or enjoying drinks at the Constellation Bar.

Access to the Etihad lounges is available to guests flying in Etihad’s The Residence, First and Business Class, as well as Etihad Guest members with eligible tier status. Even Economy Class travelers can access the exclusive lounge space by purchasing access to Etihad’s Business Lounge, subject to availability.

Conveniently located, the lounge offers access to three gates, allowing direct boarding from the lounge on selected flights for premium cabin passengers, ensuring convenience and speed.

The lounge also provides expansive views of the runway from the calm and tranquil East and West Study areas, offering a perfect spot to observe aircraft take-offs and landings.

Dining options in the Etihad Business Class lounge are diverse, with Liwan Global Dining providing all-day dining featuring live cooking stations, Emirati and Middle Eastern cuisines, and international favorites inspired by Etihad’s destinations. The Roof Lounge offers an international buffet of hot and cold dishes during select periods.

For those looking for lighter fare, there are multiple stations throughout the lounge where guests can help themselves to snacks and hot and cold beverages.

The Constellation Bar, a highlight of the Roof Lounge, is adorned with a bespoke glass lighting sculpture called Panora, depicting the Abu Dhabi city skyline. The bar serves a wide selection of cocktails, mocktails, wines, and beverages, making it a destination in itself for frequent travelers.

Guests seeking relaxation can make use of the private Relaxation Rooms, featuring day beds and plush Armani Casa furnishings, as well as 18 well-appointed shower suites. For those looking for entertainment, the Games Room is fully equipped with table football, air hockey, and digital gaming options.

Etihad remains family-friendly, with a dedicated Family Room designed to entertain young travelers with games, toys, and books. Chesterfield sofas provide comfort in the Smoking Lounge for cigarette and cigar enthusiasts.

Prayer rooms have also been thoughtfully designed, complete with ensuite ablution areas for comfort and convenience.

The exclusive First Lounge offers a dedicated reception lobby for Etihad’s most premium guests, with a private elevator leading to the Rooftop Lounge on the top floor. The First Lounge Dining Room provides an elevated dining experience with à la carte dining and a fine wine selection recommended by in-house experts, reflecting the best of Emirati gastronomy and the destinations served by Etihad.

In The Parlour for First customers, a selection of pastries, desserts, and a signature tea experience await in an elegant setting, featuring various tea ceremonies and a signature coffee presentation.

For the ultimate pre-flight relaxation and indulgence, First class Private Suites are available for guests to work, relax, and dine in complete privacy. These suites are complimentary for guests flying in The Residence and available for booking by all other First class lounge guests.

For premium guests arriving in Abu Dhabi with pre-booked chauffeur services, there’s also the option to visit the Etihad Chauffeur Lounge for a shower, refreshment, or a quick snack or drink before meeting their chauffeur.
