The National Service Career Fair receives 600 applications for Emirates Group

The Group’s participation in the sixth National Service Career Fair is a part of its aggressive recruitment drive to find qualified Emirati professionals to support its accelerated business growth and anticipated expansion. On the first day alone, more than 200 graduates stopped by the interactive booth of the Emirates Group to look at the job prospects, which included the National Cadet Pilot Program, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License program (AMEL), and customer service positions.

Before becoming qualified to fly for the largest international airline, Emirates, Cadet Pilot Program participants will have the exceptional chance to train at the Emirates Flight Training Academy’s state-of-the-art facilities for four years. After enrolling in AMEL, high school graduates will receive their higher diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, which will be certified by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), after completing both theoretical and practical training at the Emirates Engineering Training College. To help them adjust to their new roles in the midst of the increased worldwide operations, the new Customer Service employees will also receive a full year of classroom and on-the-job training when they join.

The Emirates Group’s strong Emiratisation strategy, which sees a team of specialists and professionals recruit UAE nationals across a variety of business areas and functions while also putting up the barriers to their career advancement through specialized trainings and various development programs, reflects the organization’s unwavering dedication to integrating Emirati capabilities.

The Emirates Group now employs around 3,000 Emiratis in a range of positions, including pilots, engineers, IT specialists, data analysts, and commercial managers. To support the UAE’s goals for science, technology, and innovation, the Group is also seeking to create more distinctive jobs for UAE nationals in developing industries like machine learning and artificial intelligence. With more than 30% of Emiratis in leadership positions across the Group, every effort is being made to develop a pipeline of aviation professionals who are capable of carrying out the vision of the UAE leadership and contributing to the country’s aviation industry and economic growth, further solidifying Dubai’s position as a top-tier air transportation hub for trade and tourism.
