Textron Aviation deliver back 400th Citation CJ4

After entering service in 2010, the 400th Citation CJ4 series aircraft was delivered today, marking a significant milestone for Textron Aviation. At a special delivery ceremony held at the Textron Aviation headquarters in Wichita, representatives from both companies received the 400th copy, a CJ4 Gen2, which was delivered to Koch Holdings of Easton, Pennsylvania.

“Our customers appreciate the quality and reliability, as well as the comfort and flexibility provided by the Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2,” said Lannie O’Bannion, senior v-p of global sales and flight operations for Textron Aviation. “This aircraft is a direct response to continued conversations with our customers. Their input, combined with the excellent work by our employees, helped create an incredible aircraft.”

Cessna’s largest light aircraft, the CJ4 Gen2, has 10 seats and a 1,040-pound weight limit for cargo. The aircraft, which can operate solo and has a range of 2,165 nautical miles and a top speed of 451 kts, can take off from runways that are 3,410 feet long. It is employed for a variety of tasks, including air ambulance, maritime patrol, search and rescue, and aerial surveying.
