Following the GRI guidelines, the report outlines disclosures pertinent to shareholders, customers, employees, and the communities within which the airline operates.
Rohit Ramachandran, CEO of Jazeera Airways, expressed, “Sharing Jazeera Airways’ inaugural sustainability report fills me with immense pride. With a workforce of over 1,100 individuals facilitating the transport of over 3.6 million passengers annually across the Middle East, Central & South Asia, Africa, and Europe, our ethical, social, and environmental responsibilities as an organization are clear.”
Since its establishment in 2005, Jazeera has reached numerous business milestones and presently serves 66 destinations.
Ramachandran further noted, “Over the years, we’ve garnered the trust of our stakeholders, and as we continue our rapid expansion, we uphold our profound responsibility to our people and the planet. By issuing an open and transparent report on our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, our aim is to chart our present position and future path for our sustainability strategy.”
