Dubai Civil Aviation Authority Joins Airport Show’s 23rd Edition to Drive Aviation Industry Growth

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) is gearing up to participate in the 23rd edition of the Airport Show, slated to take place from May 14th to 16th at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the President of the DCAA, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline, the event serves as a significant platform for advancing the emirate’s aviation sector.

H.E Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the DCAA, emphasized the importance of this year’s exhibition, coinciding with the approval of designs for the new passenger terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport and the commencement of its construction. With a projected capacity to accommodate 260 million passengers, quintupling the current throughput of Dubai International Airport, this development is set to reshape the global direction for industry advancement.

As the regulatory body overseeing Dubai’s civil aviation, the DCAA is committed to fostering advancements across various sectors within the industry. By promoting safety, security, environmental sustainability, procedural flexibility, and innovation, the Authority aims to drive the growth and evolution of Dubai’s aviation landscape.
