Emirates Announces Key Appointments in Commercial Operations

Emirates has revealed strategic changes within its commercial teams spanning Europe, Africa, and East Asia, reflecting the airline’s robust growth path. The airline is strategically placing promising UAE National talent in pivotal markets to steer Emirates towards its short, medium, and long-term objectives, addressing both challenges and opportunities. Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the airline’s commitment to nurturing Emirati talent. He highlighted the importance of these rotations for six potential leaders who will leverage their expertise to navigate industry challenges and seize opportunities in their new markets.
Key Appointments:
- Mohammed Alqassim, formerly Country Manager for Cyprus, is now the Country Manager for Cambodia.
- Ahmad Tamim, previously managing Ivory Coast, has been appointed as Country Manager for Cyprus.
- Adnan Almarzooqi, former Commercial Support Manager for South Africa, is now the Country Manager for Ivory Coast.
- Mohamed Taher, previously managing Commercial Support in Egypt, takes on the role of Manager for Uganda.
- Sultan Alriyami, former Manager for Taiwan, is now the Area Manager for Hong Kong.
- Nasser Bahlooq, previously the Area Manager for Hong Kong, transitions to Manager for Taiwan.
